A hit-and-run accident has resulted in several charges being filed against a Fremont man.
At about 8:59 Sunday night, Fremont police investigated the accident in the 400 block of East 23rd Street. The vehicle was located resulting the arrest of Luis R. Uribe Paz, 42, for DUI .15+, leaving the scene of an accident, two counts of child abuse – negligently, two counts of transporting a child, under 16 years of age, while intoxicated.
