Fremont police responded at 2:37 p.m. Thursday to the area of Linden and Somers in reference to a possible burglary in progress.
Upon arrival, the officers determined the complaint to be valid. Rexie J. Welsh, 19, who is homeless, was arrested for an attempt of a Class IIA felony (attempted burglary), possession of burglar’s tools, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance and criminal mischief.
