A 27-year-old homeless man was arrested Saturday for trespassing.
Police officers were dispatched at about 6:52 p.m. to the 400 block of West 23rd Street. Officers had contact with James W. Alvarez, 27, who had been given a prior trespassing notice for the property. He was arrested for second-degree trespassing.
