A 36-year-old Wahoo man died Monday night when he was ejected from his truck during a crash in Saunders County, the sheriff’s office says.
The crash happened east of Cedar Bluffs at the intersection of County Roads X and 16 at about 10:30 p.m. Jedd Lofgren was heading north on County Road 16 when he drove off the road and went into a ditch. His truck then became airborne over County Road X and crashed into a tree.
The truck flipped before coming to a stop about a hundred feet north of County Road X.
Lofgren was ejected from his vehicle during the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities weren’t made aware of the crash until about 11:45 Tuesday morning. When deputies arrived, they pronounced Lofgren dead at the scene.
Saunders County Deputies were also assisted by Cedar Bluffs Fire and Rescue at the scene.
