Blair woman selected for leadership class

The NE Chamber Foundation has announced that Jordan Rishel of Blair has been selected to participate in Leadership Nebraska Class XIV.
 
Rishel has been with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce since August 2012. She celebrated her seventh year as Executive Director in March of 2022. Prior to joining the chamber, Rishel Jordan spent much of her career as a figure skating & ice hockey coach.
 
Rishel attended Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, N.Y., and Metropolitan Community College in Elkhorn. She graduated from the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s Institute of Organizational Management, participated in Leadership Washington County, completed the NACO Institute of Excellence, and completed two Professional Development Academy classes – NACo High Performance Leadership and Enterprise Cybersecurity.
 
Rishel has been a member of the Blair Optimist Club for nearly 10 years, serving as president for three years and is currently the secretary-treasurer. She is active in the Blair Rotary club, where she has served as president and secretary, and is a member of the Blair Kiwanis Club.
Rishel is on the board for the Washington County Long Term Recovery Group and past board member and chair of the Washington County Food Pantry. She is active in the Washington County Gives Day, Metropolitan Community College advisory group and holds an elected position as the District 4 Representative on the Washington County Board of Supervisors through December 2022.
