Fremont Public Schools released information Friday related to the COVID-19 numbers in the district.
There were 27 students not in school that due to a positive COVID-19 test while 72 were not in school due to quarantine for exposure. There were 156 students absent Friday due to any illness.
There were three employees not working Friday due to a positive COVID-19 test while one was not working due to quarantine for exposure. There were 44 certified teaching staff members not at work due to any reason.
The current number of students and staff out of school due to a positive test represents less than 1 percent of the student body and staff. FPS officials continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation.
