Kathleen “Kathy” J. Geaghan, 68 years, of Fremont, NE passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Methodist Fremont Health. She was born on February 3, 1953 in Fremont, NE to Raymond and Rose (Seger) Coday.
Kathy was a lifelong resident of Fremont. She graduated from Archbishop Bergan High School in 1971. She graduated from the Grand Island School of Business. Kathy married Leo Geaghan on September 30, 1972 at St Patrick Catholic Church. She worked at Arby’s for over 20 years. Kathy enjoyed collecting Teddy bears.
She was an active member of St. Patrick Church.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Leo; sons, Pete (Jamie) Geaghan of Fremont, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Geaghan of Bellevue, NE, Stephen (Hannah) Geaghan of Omaha, NE; brother, Bill (Pam) Coday; sisters, Judy Coday and Barb Whipple all of Fremont, Terri (Jim) Osborne of Des Moines, IA; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim Coday; sister, Regina Kleekamp; 3 grandchildren, infant twin boy grandsons and a granddaughter.
Funeral Mass is 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 22, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM on Sunday, a Rosary will start at 4 PM at Moser memorial Chapel in Fremont. There will be a private burial at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorial may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
