Storm shuts down Saunders County recreation area

Mother Nature has temporarily shut down a recreation area in Saunders County.
The Memphis State Recreation area is closed until further notice due to storm damage from Saturday night.
Nebraska Game & Parks Commission officials said the storm caused structural and tree damage. However, no injuries were reported at the park.
Officials didn’t give a timetable on when the park will reopen.
