Fremont police cited an Arizona man on suspicion of possession of a deadly weapon by a felon after officers were called to a disturbance on Sunday morning.
At about 2:15 a.m., John C. Peck, 61, of Glendale was cited after officers were called to a business in the 1600 block of east 23rd Avenue North. Peck was accused of causing a disturbance inside the business.
After authorities arrived, they learned Peck had an active arrest warrant out of Texas, for which he was placed under arrest. A search yielded two hunting knives and a hatchet on a bicycle which Peck was using to travel cross country.
