The Midland Warriors began competition in the NAIA National Track and Field Championships, in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Wednesday.  In the women’s pole vault, Kylee Edmonds took fifth place, clearing 12-9.5.  Wendy van Nes finished ninth at 11’11.75”.  Dylan Kucera took fourth in the men’s hammer throw at 197-2.  Adrien Patigny ran a 21.63 in the men’s 200m prelims, but missed out on qualifying.
Today, Kucera will compete in the men’s discus, Ross McMahon and Shandon Reitzell compete in the high jump and Patigny will run in the 100m prelims.
