Fremont man faces assault charge

A Fremont man was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of third-degree assault and criminal mischief. 
 
Shawn J. Pellan, 28, was arrested at about 8:05 a.m. following a disturbance complaint at a residence in the 1100 block of north Morrell Street. 
 
Pellan is accused of inflicting minor injury to an acquaintance and damaging two television sets. The estimated damage to the TV sets is $400.
