Fremont man cited for theft of catalytic converters

A Fremont man was cited Thursday on suspicion of theft by unlawful taking.
Dustin L. Nielsen, 35, was cited at about 4:45 p.m. after it was determined he had stolen catalytic converters off of vehicles parked in a business parking lot in the 500 block of East Thomsen Street.
Estimated value of the stolen converters is $900. Fremont police said it wasn’t known if Nielsen had anything to do with previous reports of stolen catalytic converters.
