Fremont receives airport grant

Fremont is one of 72 airports in Nebraska to receive grant funding from the Federal Aviation Administration.
The grant is for $13,000.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) received notice from the (FAA) of a recent allocation of $2 billion in funding under the FAA’s Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program (ACRGP).  The ACRGP funding was approved by Congress in late December as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriation Act.
The NDOT said the 72 airports will receive a combined $12,528,712 in grant allocations.
