NENCAP Hires New Veteran Services Health Care Navigator

PENDER – Juliette (Julie) Reynolds recently joined the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) team at Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership as the new SSVF Health Care Navigator.

Julie can help Veteran clients and Veteran families access healthcare services and education in both the community and with the Veteran Affairs Medical Centers. She can be reached at the NENCAP Central Office at 402-385-6300.
Julie is a graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle, IL with a Masters of Public Health, Health Care Education. Julie worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs for several years with various positions in the Veterans Benefits Administration. She lives in Craig with her husband, Bill Reynolds, who is a Navy Veteran.
When asked about her new position, Julie stated, “I am very happy to be a part of an organization dedicated to helping people and Veterans get to good health in their lives right here in the community.”
NENCAP serves over 10,000 clients a year with programs such as Head Start, Early Head Start, WIC, Immunization, Healthy Families, Weatherization, Family Services, free tax preparation, car seat programs, Veteran Services, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, and food pantries.
