FREMONT -Fremont Police responded to numerous calls of domestic assault and criminal mischief over the weekend.
On Friday, November 20, at approximately 2:40 pm, Robert D. Schreck, 58, of Missouri Valley, IA was cited on suspicion of criminal mischief following a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of west 23rd Street.
He is accused of kicking the door to the residence and damaging it. The estimated damage is $300.00.
Also on Friday, at approximately 5:15 pm, Ernesto R. Escalante, 55, of Fremont was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and strangulation at a residence in the 700 block of north Michael Street. He is accused of choking an acquaintance and inflicting minor injury.
On Saturday, November 21, at approximately 7:45 pm, FPD received a report of a domestic assault disturbance in the parking lot of a business in the 3000 block of Elk Lane.
Haylee C. Bonney, 20, of Fremont is accused of hitting an acquaintance. She was arrested and charged with domestic assault as well as resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance after THC was found in her purse during a search following her arrest.
Later that night, at approximately 9:30 pm, Blair A. Morgan, 29, of Hawarden, IA, and Robert G. Thomas, 56, of Fremont were cited on suspicion of criminal mischief following a disturbance complaint in the 2800 block of east 23rd Avenue.
They are accused of damaging a pickup belonging to another person.
FPD received a call on Sunday, November 22, at approximately 8:55 pm at a residence in the 2500 block of north Clarkson Street.
Andrew J. Miller, 21, of Fremont, was accused of inflicting minor injury to an acquaintance and FPD cited him on suspicion of 3rd Degree Assault.
