
The Fremont Police Department responded to various incidents recently. All of the information is from FPD.
Police were dispatched at about 1:54 Friday morning to a crash near the 900 block of North Pierce Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the driver, Silvia Ramirez Salas of Fremont. He was arrested for DUI .15+ with one prior conviction and no operator’s license.
At about 8:34 Friday night, FPD responded to the area of 200 South Thomas Street in reference to a physical disturbance.
Following an investigation, Alicia Casey of Mitchell, South Dakota, was arrested for disorderly conduct and domestic violence assault.
Police were dispatched at about 6:44 Saturday night to the area of 1900 North Park Avenue in reference to a physical disturbance. An investigation was conducted and Donald Miller of Fremont was arrested for domestic violence assault with injury, assault by strangulation, and child abuse/neglect without injury.
A traffic stop was conducted at about 10:48 Saturday night in the area of 100 North M Street. It resulted in the arrest of the driver, Eduver Trinidad Escalante, of Fremont for driving under suspension.
At 10:33 Saturday night, FPD responded to a report of a possible impaired driver at 710 North Broad Street. Hayden Henderson of Fremont was arrested for DUI, refusal to submit to test, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
Police responded at 4:30 Sunday morning to the area of 400 East 23rd Street in reference to a trespassing complaint. The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of Eleise Hughes of Fremont for second-degree criminal trespass, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer.
At 1:08 Sunday afternoon, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of 600 North C Street. The driver of the vehicle, Jorge Xan Cuin of Fremont, was arrested for no operator’s license and speeding.
