A-Plus Tree Service, a residential and commercial tree care company based in Fremont, has earned Accreditation from the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), the national trade association for professional tree care companies.
TCIA Accreditation is a voluntary program that evaluates tree care companies to ensure they operate with proper safety programs, training, insurance, and ethical business practices. Less than 3% of tree care companies nationwide meet the standards required to earn this recognition.
For A-Plus Tree Service, the achievement represents more than just a certification.
“This business was built on doing things the right way,” said Brandon Bogus, owner of A-Plus Tree Service. “My dad started this company and set the tone for how we treat people, how we provide top level craftsmanship, and how we take care of our customers. Earning TCIA Accreditation is really a reflection of the culture our team has continued to build over the years.”
To earn Accreditation, companies undergo a detailed review of their operations, including safety procedures, employee training, insurance coverage, and overall business practices. The process also includes a site visit and verification that the company follows nationally recognized industry standards for tree care.
The review focuses on several key areas that help protect homeowners and their property, including:
● Consumer satisfaction
● Best business practices
● Employee training and education
● Compliance with ANSI industry standards
● Safety procedures and quality standards
● Proper insurance coverage
Accredited companies must renew their status annually and complete a full re-accreditation review every 3
years to ensure those standards continue to be met.
For the team at A-Plus Tree Service, the recognition reinforces a long-standing commitment to professional
tree care and responsible business practices.
“We take a lot of pride in our work and the people on our team,” Bogus said. “Our goal has always been to
provide honest advice, safe work, and take care of our customers’ property the same way we would our own.”
