MBB: Two Warriors Earn All-GPAC Honors; Four Warriors Recognized

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced its 2025-26 Men’s Basketball All-Conference Teams on Wednesday, with Midland University placing four student-athletes on the list. Jake Orr and Jeff Rozelle III were named to the All-GPAC Second Team, while Nick Dolezal and Butch Lordeus received honorable mention recognition.

Orr, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, reached a significant career milestone this season by surpassing 1,500 career points. He finished third on the team in scoring at 13.0 points per game while leading the Warriors in both assists (4.0 per game) and steals (1.9 per game).

Rozelle, a junior from St. Louis, Missouri, also earned All-GPAC Second Team honors after a strong all-around campaign. He ranked second on the team in scoring with 13.8 points per game and was second in rebounding at 8.8 boards per contest.

Dolezal, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, earned honorable mention recognition after averaging 9.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

Lordeus, a junior from Deerfield Beach, Florida, also received honorable mention honors following a breakout season. In his first full year with the Warriors, he led the team in scoring at 14.2 points per game.

Northwestern College’s Jesse Van Kalsbeek was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Year to headline the conference awards. Other top honors included Co-Defensive Players of the Year Wil Lugar of Briar Cliff and Fitzy Grant of Morningside, Freshman of the Year Kaden Van Regenmorter of Morningside, and Coach of the Year Trent Miller of Morningside.
