The community is invited to the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce 2026 Excellence in Agriculture Awards Luncheon April 1 at the Fremont City Auditorium.
The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will celebrate outstanding achievements, innovation and leadership of agricultural businesses and families.
Tom Field, director of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, will be the featured speaker.
The event will honor Rail Modal Group as the Ag Business of the Year, Wholestone Farms as the Ag Innovator of the Year, Tim Shanahan as the Ag Family of the Year, and Brent and Laura Fitzke as the Ag Specialty Producer of the Year.
Individual tickets are $45 and tables of eight are $360.
