A Lincoln man reported missing last week has been discovered deceased in Saunders County.
The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office said that Harrison Schreurs, who was last seen Jan. 28, was found dead Thursday in his vehicle. The vehicle had been involved in a collision on County Road 21, north of County Road A –about two miles west of Ceresco — in a wooded creek line and was not visible from a vehicle on the road.
The SCSO is working with the Lincoln Police Department on the investigation.
An autopsy is scheduled to determine Schreurs’ cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.
Saunders County Sheriff Chris Lichtenberg thanked the Lincoln Police Department for their diligence in using their information from the investigation to find closure for the family.
