City seeks input on public safety initiative

city-of-fremont-2

The City of Fremont has announced that the data analysis and review phase of the Safe Streets 4 Fremont – Here We Grow, Safely We Go Together initiative has been completed. The project is now moving into the strategy identification and implementation phase.

With a foundation built on historical crash data and community input collected through multiple outreach strategies, the project is now shifting toward identifying priority safety strategies, policies, and recommendations to improve safety across Fremont’s transportation network.

To support this work, the City is launching a second public survey to help inform this new phase of community engagement and public outreach. The survey is designed to gather feedback on emerging safety priorities, potential improvement strategies, and community values as Fremont moves from analysis toward action.

Community input will continue to play a critical role in shaping the direction of the Safe Streets 4 Fremont program. Feedback collected through this survey will directly inform the development and refinement of recommended safety strategies and implementation actions. The public survey is available online at: https://www.tinyurl.com/SafeStreets4Fremont2

Community members, workers, students, and visitors of Fremont are encouraged to participate and share their perspectives. Additional opportunities for engagement will be announced as the project progresses.
