Christina Kay Mount, 55, of Fremont passed away January 3, 2026 at her home. She was born June 15, 1970 in Chadron to Steven D. and Norma (Engelsgaard) Groves.
She was a 1988 graduate of Fremont Senior High School. She attended American Express Travel School in Phoenix, Arizona. She worked in the corporate travel industry for more than 10 years. She married Richard Mount and they later divorced. She came back to Fremont in 2002.
Christina enjoyed nature, camping, fishing, EDM Music (Electronic Dance Music), her happiness, shopping and traveling. She loved her puppy, Sissy La La and Rabbit Hazel. Christina was known for her big heart.
Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Wood & Norma Busch; and brothers, Brice Wood and Allan Busch.
Survived by daughter, Julia Mount and father, Steven Groves; stepfather, Larry Busch; stepbrothers, Ron (Jennifer) Busch and their son, Doug and Mike (Tena)Busch and their son, Treton; sister-in-law, April Busch; stepsister, Jodie (Bill) Bishop and their sons, Liam, Jackson and Henry; brother, Dallas Groves and all of her beautiful friends.
Celebration of Live Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation is 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday also at Moser’s.
