Larry L. Goldsberry, 88, of Fremont passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Shalimar Gardens in Fremont. He was born March 7, 1937 in Fremont to Chester and Eleanor (Bozarth) Goldsberry.

Larry entered the U.S. Army and served from January 17, 1956 to January 5, 1958. He married Beverly Hovendick on December 7, 1962 at Hooper. She preceded him in death on May 29, 2022. Larry worked at Hormel in Fremont for 40 years and retired in 1999. He then worked at Midland University until 2017.

Larry was a member of First United Methodist Church, Fremont Anglers, Ft. Atkinson Muzzleloaders Club, Izzak Walton and the UFCW Union in Fremont and was past union rep and spokesperson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Beverly.

Survived by his son, Tim (Kerrie) Goldsberry and daughter, Tami (Gerald) Honeywell all of Fremont; brother, Gary Goldsberry of Florida and sister, Judy Jones of Arizona; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont followed by military honors conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard at the funeral home. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday also at Moser’s.

Private inurnment will be at Memorial Cemetery Gazebo in Fremont.

Memorials are suggested to the Elkhorn Valley Muzzleloaders Club.
