DCSO issues alert about copper thefts

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has received several reports involving the theft of copper wiring and components from agricultural irrigation
pivots throughout the county.

The DCSO urges landowners, farmers, and residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activity. Theft incidents often occur during late night or early morning hours and may involve unfamiliar vehicles parked near fields.

If you see something suspicious, contact the non-emergency line at (402) 727-2700. Dial 911 in case of an emergency. If you wish to remain anonymous, tips can be submitted through the P3 app or by calling Crime Stoppers at (402) 727-4002.
