SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Midland University was well represented on the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Volleyball All-Conference Team, earning six selections. Freshman Abree Plueger and sophomore Brooklynn Snyder were named to the All-GPAC First Team, sophomore Lauren Jones and junior Brena Mackling secured All-GPAC Second Team honors, and senior Cameran Jansky along with junior Claire Johnson, received honorable mention recognition.

Plueger has made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season, ranking second on the team with 323 kills (2.86 per set) while adding 39 aces, 184 digs, and 37 total blocks. She has appeared in all 113 sets for the Warriors and is one of the conference’s top freshmen performers.

Snyder, a sophomore outside hitter, is the offensive attack leader with 413 kills (3.65 per set) while hitting .227 on the season. She has also contributed 20 aces, 132 digs, and 36 blocks.

Jones earned a Second Team spot after a strong sophomore campaign in the middle. She recorded 242 kills (2.16 per set) while hitting .215 and added 82 digs and 72 total blocks, ranking second on the team in blocking production.

Mackling, a junior setter, continued to be one of the GPAC’s top distributors. She leads Midland with 657 assists (5.81 per set), along with 43 aces and 210 digs. Her consistency has helped guide the offense to more than 13 kills per set.

Jansky, the team’s lone senior honoree, has delivered a steady presence on the pin with 80 kills, 84 block assists, and 90 total blocks. She is hitting .232 on the season and has provided key defensive contributions at the net.

Johnson, a junior libero/defensive specialist, also earned honorable mention recognition after producing 209 digs (2.13 per set) and committing just 17 reception errors across 98 sets. She has been an anchor in the Warriors’ back-row unit throughout the season.

Midland finished third in the GPAC regular season and reached conference semifinals. They will be hosting the NAIA Opening Round this upcoming Saturday. More details will be announced after the matchups are announced by the national office.
