
Nathaniel “Nate” Curtis Siems, 43, of Fremont passed away on November 3, 2025. He was born on December 10, 1981, in Fremont where he spent his life working hard, lending a helping hand, and leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Nate was a skilled ironworker, welder, and ranch hand who took pride in his craftsmanship and dedication to a job well done. After completing high school, he pursued an apprenticeship with Local 10 that led to a rewarding career built on strength, grit, and integrity. Those who worked alongside him remember not only his work ethic but also his humor, loyalty, and easygoing spirit. Nate’s hands built and fixed many things, but his greatest work was the love and loyalty he gave to those around him.
Beyond his work, Nate found joy in spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, hard-earned friendships, and the love of family. His presence was a steady source of strength and warmth for those fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his sons, Gavin Klevemann of Fremont and Gage Siems of Hooper; his mother and stepfather, Cindy and Terry Hall of Granby, Missouri; his father, Craig Siems of New Mexico; his siblings, Angie (Gary) Prochaska of Prague; Shane (Rebecca) Siems of Hammond, Wisconsin; Alex (Amanda) Siems of Hooper; Andrew (Emily) Siems of Fremont; Alicia (Aaron) Hilker of Cedar Bluffs. Stepbrothers Jesse (Michele) Hall of Joplin, Missouri; Devin Hall of Mount Vernon, Missouri. He is also survived by his grandmother, Joyce Siems, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will cherish his memory.
Nate was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and June Timm and Paul Siems; his aunt, Judy Callaway; and his uncle, Roger Timm.
Nate will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his laughter, and his unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed but forever held in the hearts of those who knew him.
Celebration of Nate’s Life will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday also at Moser’s. A luncheon will follow at Izaak Walton in Fremont.
