June Timm (Lueninghoener), 101, of Nickerson passed away peacefully at her home on Oct. 4, 2025.

June was born on June 23, 1924 to Arthur and Emma (Anderson) Lueninghoener on a farm outside of Hooper. June spent her childhood in Nickerson and later graduated from Nickerson School. She married Charles A. Timm on her 18th birthday in 1942. She and Charles moved to a farm near Nickerson in 1944, where they farmed for almost 50 years and raised their six amazing children.

June was a strong, hardworking, funny, talented and loving woman who adored her family. She worked diligently on the farm milking cows and her favorite cow was named Hungry. She was an avid pianist and an exceptional cook, but her greatest passion was her family. They brought her such joy and always brought out her beautiful smile!

June was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Timm, parents, Arthur and Emma (Anderson) Lueninghoener, son, Roland Timm, son, Roger Timm, daughter, Judy Callaway, granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Wegner and many beloved family members.

Survived by son, Larry and Paula Timm (Boyd, Texas) daughter, Linda and Bob Oshel (Cape Coral, Florida), son, Randall Timm (Nickerson) daughter, Cindy and Terry Hall (Fremont), son-in-law, Robert Callaway (Lincoln) 16 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. Along with several other family members.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Pastor Erick Encarnacion will officiate. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday also at Moser’s. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
