SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), along with presenting sponsor Hauff Mid-America Sports, has announced its Men’s Soccer Players of the Week for contests played September 15-21, 2025. Midland University’s Thomas Gibson was named the GPAC Defender of the Week, while Evan Bolster of Dakota Wesleyan University was named the offensive player.
Gibson, a senior from Bury St. Edmunds, England, helped Midland to a road win at Dordt to start conference play on Saturday. In addition to helping the Warriors limit the Defenders to just two shots on goal. On the other end of the pitch, he scored his first goal of the season to open the game’s scoring.
