After a brief hiatus, the Relay For Life of Dodge County is back for 2025, bringing the community together to honor survivors, remember loved ones, and celebrate 40 years of impact in the fight against cancer.
This year’s event will take place 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday (Sept. 20) at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont. The morning will feature a short ceremony, a keynote address, and the opportunity to connect with neighbors and friends united in the cause.
Lunch will be provided by Hy-Vee with a suggested donation of $10. Admission to the event is free. Guests can also enjoy classic tailgate games and participate in a drawing for a chance to win an official Relay For Life “Tailgate Package.”
“Relay For Life has always been about community, celebration, and hope,” said Diane Wilson, chairperson of the executive planning committee. “We’re excited to bring Dodge County back together for this special event and to mark 40 years of Relay’s incredible impact.”
