A single-vehicle rollover accident Monday afternoon has claimed the life of a Prague man.
At about 12:14 p.m., the Saunders County Sheriff’s Office and Prague Fire and Rescue responded to the scene of the accident on Highway 79 between County Road S and County Road R just north of Prague.
The preliminary investigation shows that a silver Chevy Trailblazer driven by Marvin R. Ourada, 76, of Prague was traveling southbound on Highway 79 when the vehicle exited the roadway into the west ditch. The vehicle then collided with a driveway embankment causing the vehicle to roll end over end ejecting the driver before it came to rest.
The investigation shows that Ourada may have suffered a medical condition prior to the accident. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor and seatbelts were not in use.
