The City of Blair is providing an update to residents on ongoing recovery efforts following the recent severe storm.

Debris Cleanup
Public Works crews are actively completing the first round of storm debris pickup. Residents are asked to place tree debris between the street and sidewalk, without blocking either. Crews will complete this first round before announcing the second round of collection—residents will be given at least five days notice before the next pickup begins. Tree debris can also be taken to any of the following drop-off sites:

• South of the Washington County Recycling Center (near 3rd Avenue & Colfax Street)
• Vet’s Field Parking Lot (13th & Butler Avenue)
• East Parking Lot (off Angel Shares Drive & Hansen Drive)

OPPD Update
City staff remain in close contact with OPPD regarding power restoration. As of this morning, approximately 1,100 customers remain without power in the hardest-hit areas of Blair and Ashland.

OPPD’s goal is to restore all remaining outages today. Any resident still without power should report it directly to OPPD via their website or by calling 1-800-554-OPPD (6773).

Residents are encouraged to sign up for the City of Blair Emergency Alert System on our website to receive updates on recovery efforts and future emergency notifications.
