Deputies from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office recently recovered several stolen vehicles resulting in arrests.
At about 2:53 Monday afternoon, deputies received reports of a vehicle stolen out of Lincoln that was being tracked by its owner. The vehicle was located heading eastbound on Highway 91 near Highway 275 east of Snyder. The driver of the vehicle, Kalsey Bailey, 27, of Sioux City, Iowa, was placed under arrest for theft by unlawful taking, tampering with physical
evidence, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and no operator’s license.
At about 6:40 Saturday morning, deputies with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office recovered a stolen red Suzuki motorcycle near the 3500 block of Big Bluestem Road, north of Fremont. The motorcycle was reported stolen out of Sioux City, Iowa. At this time, no arrests have been made in this recovery.
At 9:22 a.m. Sunday, deputies with the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in Dodge for a trespassing complaint. It was determined through the investigation that a female party had left the area prior to contact with deputies. She was later located at the city park in Dodge in possession of a vehicle that was reported stolen to the Fremont Police Department.
Elizabeth Daughty
Elizabeth Daughty, 31, of Fremont was arrested for theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a deadly weapon
while committing a felony (knife), and driving under suspension.
Deputies also made four arrests for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, one arrest for flight to avoid arrest in a motor
vehicle, two arrests for committing child abuse (negligently) and one drug arrest.
