FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University and head men’s basketball coach Tyler Erwin have officially announced the 2025-26 schedule for the Warriors. Now entering his fourth season at the helm, Erwin and the Warriors will open the campaign with a marquee exhibition game at the University of Nebraska on October 27.
The regular season tips off just two days later when Midland travels to Storm Lake, Iowa, to take on Buena Vista University on October 29. The Warriors will then return to Fremont to host Dickinson State on Halloween night, October 31, for their home opener at the Wikert Event Center.
Midland’s non-conference schedule is highlighted by road matchups at the University of St. Mary (Kan.), Sterling College (Kan.), and Clarke University (Iowa), as well as a home game against Hesston College (Kan.). A notable midseason highlight comes in December when the Warriors travel to Hilo, Hawaii, for a two-day showcase. There, they’ll take on Grace College (Ind.) and Nelson University (Ariz.) in a pair of neutral-site non-conference games on December 16-17.
Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) play gets underway on November 15 when the Warriors host Morningside University. Midland’s conference slate features 20 games, with 12 of those contests taking place at the Wikert Event Center.
