
Randall Dan Workman Sr., 65, passed away on July 17, 2025 at his home in Fremont with his family by his side.
Randall was born to Melody (Rachwitz) Farrell and Ronald Workman Sr. in Omaha on June 25, 1960. In 1976 he met the love of his life, Dina Workman, and they were married in 1979. They had four children Amanda, Melanie, Randall Jr. , and Keith. In 1998 they moved to Fremont where they continued to live until the time of Randall’s death.
Randall spent many years coaching boys baseball for Benson Little League in Omaha where he made many lifelong connections. He had a great love of travel that followed him throughout his life with some of his favorite vacations being Yellowstone National Park and Estes Park in Colorado. Randall loved baseball and football, and was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. Randall had a zest for life and made an impression with everyone he met and an unwavering love for Christ.
Randall was preceded in death by his dad Lyle Farrell, his Father Ronald Workman Sr, and his brother Ronald Workman Jr.
Randall is survived by his wife Dina, his children Amanda (Aaron) Mesloh, Melanie (Matthew) Leetsch, Randall Jr (Barbie), and Keith Workman. His 15 grandchildren, who lovingly referred to him as Pops, and two great grandchildren, his mother Melody Farrell, his sisters Candace (David) Sus, Crystal Hauger, and sister-in-law Brigitte Workman. Many nieces and nephews. Many friends.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 21, at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont with the family present 6 to 8 p.m.
