Fremont police are investigating a personal injury accident that occurred Monday afternoon in the area West 19th and North Broad streets.
Officers were called to the scene at about 5:15 p.m. FPD said a motorcycle was westbound on 19th Street and entered the intersection at Broad, striking a northbound Ford F-150 pickup.
Both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were transported by helicopter for treatment of their injuries. The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as Andrew Layton, 31, of Craig while the passenger has been identified as Minta Saunders, 39, of Scribner.
The driver of the pickup has been identified as Cary Jakubowski, 64, of Howells.
The investigation is ongoing.
