Marian L. Rohloff, 88, of Fremont passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at her home. She was born April 16, 1937 in rural Arlington to Nye Sr. and Helen (Eckstein) Snyder.

Marian grew up on the farm at Tekamah and graduated from Tekamah High School. She then graduated from Doane College with her Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching. She taught at several rural schools including District 88 and later Arlington and Hooper/Logan View High School. Marian married Norman R.D. Rohloff May 22, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont and has been attending Trinity Lutheran Church since early 2025. Marian was a former member of the Fremont Eagles Club #200, and Nebraska Association Retired Teachers. She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years and loved to fish.

Marian is survived by her sons, Kevin (Patricia) Rohloff of Omaha and Norman Rohloff of Waverly; brothers, Tony Snyder of Blair and Nye Snyder, Jr (Jan); sister, Leona (J C) Watson all of Fremont; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norman in 2009; sisters, Helen Jacobs and Amelia Melroy; brother, Jim Snyder, Sr. and one granddaughter.

Funeral will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 21 at Moser’s in Fremont and continue on Thursday one hour prior to the service at church. Online condolences may be left at www.mosermemorialchapels.com
