A Fremont resident faces various charges following an incident Saturday night.
At about 9:14 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 2100 North Clarmar Avenue for a possible disturbance. Officers conducted an investigation and Alex Avila Matute was arrested and booked for DUI 1st, failure to signal, no operator’s license, obstructing a peace officer, possessing an open container, and refusal to submit to a preliminary breath test.
