SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced its 2025 All-Conference Softball Teams on Tuesday, as voted on by the league’s head coaches. Midland University was well-represented with seven student-athletes earning recognition across the first team, second team, and honorable mention lists.

Three Warriors garnered First Team All-GPAC honors: senior third baseman Kamdyn Barrientos (Grand Island, Nebraska), senior first baseman Reese Floro (Plattsmouth, Nebraska), and junior pitcher Campbell Petrick (Lincoln, Nebraska).

Barrientos was a steady force in the middle of the lineup, hitting .359 with 34 runs batted in, 26 runs scored, and 12 doubles. She added five home runs and 20 walks on the season.

Floro had a standout year at the plate, batting .430 with 74 runs scored, 25 RBIs, and 14 doubles. She also swiped 18 bases and tallied four triples, helping set the tone from the top of the order.

Petrick anchored the pitching staff with a 15-6 record and a 1.86 earned run average. She completed 15 games and struck out 71 batters over 131.2 innings pitched.

Three more Warriors earned Second Team honors: senior pitcher Paeton Coler (Norfolk, Nebraska), junior designated player Isabelle Pagan (Elkhorn, Nebraska), and senior shortstop Matti Reiling (Lincoln, Nebraska).

Coler posted a 15-9 record in the circle with 17 complete games. She struck out 92 hitters in 151.2 innings and recorded a 2.72 ERA.

Pagan was one of Midland’s top run producers, batting .383 with 43 RBIs, 17 doubles, and five home runs. She also scored 25 runs and stole four bases.

Reiling was a consistent contributor on both sides of the ball, batting .391 with 34 RBIs and 36 runs scored while swiping nine bases.

Rounding out the Midland honorees was junior second baseman Jayci Reimers (Omaha, Nebraska), who received honorable mention after hitting .346 with 21 RBIs, 17 runs scored, and 10 walks.

The GPAC also announced its individual awards, with McKinnely Mull of Dakota Wesleyan earning Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Player of the Year honors. Kate Kralik of Northwestern was named the GPAC Pitcher of the Year, and Shane Bouman of Northwestern was selected as the GPAC Coach of the Year.
