BSB: Vincent Earns Second Team Honors; Five Others Receive GPAC Recognition

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Baseball All-Conference team was announced this week following a vote by league coaches. Midland University had six student-athletes earn recognition, with one Warrior named to the second team, five earning honorable mention, and one selected to the GPAC Gold Glove Team.

Senior pitcher Zachary Vincent (Tucson, Ariz.) was the lone Midland player named to the All-GPAC Second Team. Vincent finished the season with a 5-6 record, posting a 4.46 earned run average over 68.2 innings pitched while striking out 50 batters.

Earning honorable mention honors were Brody Boyle (JR – Wilton, Calif.), Brandon Creps(SR – Papillion, Neb.), Joshua Hardamon (SR – Sacramento, Calif.), Owen Kelley (JR – Omaha, Neb.), and Chris Ortega (SR – Fresno, Calif.).

Boyle, an outfielder, hit .284 on the season with 27 runs scored and 22 runs batted in. He added five doubles, two triples, one home run, 14 walks, and 13 stolen bases.

Creps was solid out of the bullpen with a 2-0 record and a 3.24 ERA in 25.0 innings, striking out 14.

Hardamon led the Warriors in several offensive categories, finishing with a .329 average, 40 runs, 38 RBI, 18 doubles, 10 home runs, and four stolen bases.

Kelley provided consistency on the mound, going 5-5 with a 3.84 ERA over 70.1 innings. He struck out 61 batters and tossed three complete games.

Ortega contributed at the designated hitter spot, batting .273 with eight runs, six doubles, four homers, and 23 RBI.

Senior outfielder Nathaniel Reyes (Milpitas, Calif.) earned a spot on the GPAC Gold Glove Team after posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 78 putouts and five assists.

Concordia University swept the major postseason honors as Jaidan Quinn was named the Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Player of the Year and Alex Johnson earned GPAC Pitcher of the Year. Riley Plummer of Doane University was named Freshman of the Year, and Concordia head coach Ryan Dupic was selected as the 2025 GPAC Coach of the Year.
