The Fremont Coin Club will conduct its 66th Annual Coin Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (May 4) at the Christensen Field Main Arena.

The show will feature more than 20-coin dealers from Nebraska and surrounding states. Items for sale include collector coins, gold and silver coins and bullion, tokens, old currency, world coins and collectible items.

The show offers the opportunity to not only purchase coins, but also to sell coins to dealers.

Also attending the show will be rock, gem and mineral dealers.

“Interest in numismatic collectibles has never been greater,” said Bob Missel, show chairman. “I anticipate a very busy show again this year.”

The American Numismatic Association Certification Service (ANACS) will attend the show offering their professional grading services to those interested. There will also be a representative from the Nebraska Numismatic Association offering information on the hobby and membership opportunities.

To commemorate this year’s event, the Fremont Coin Club has issued a commemorative $10 Bison Historical Bank note available from club members. The club is also conducting a raffle for a genuine U.S. $2 ½ Indian gold coin minted in 1927. Tickets are available at the show.
