
Randy Lee Amrein, 48, of Fremont passed away, Friday, April 18, 2025.
He was born August 5, 1976 in Hays, Kansas, to Dean and Cynthia (Weber) Amrein. Randy graduated from Ellis High School in 1994. He became a licensed electrician through the union. Randy moved to Fremont in 1996. He owned and operated his electrician business RND Services Inc. in Fremont.
Randy was always the life of the party and had a Busch Light in his hand while laughing. He was an avid hunter and was active with Elkhorn Valley Rifle Club and Outy Obsessions Hunting Excursions. He loved spending time outdoors golfing. Randy enjoyed playing cornhole and was a member of the War Eagle Baggers. Randy was always Dakota’s number one fan cheering him on while watching him play sports.
Randy is survived by his son, Dakota of Fremont; father, Dean Amrein of Ellis, Kansas; mother, Cynthia Amrein of Omaha; and sister, Wendy Amrein of Hays, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Elizabeth Amrein and Bud Weber; and he will be together again with Megan Amrein.
Randy’s visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. He will have a second visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Wasinger Keithley Funeral Home in Ellis, Kansas. The funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 25 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Ellis.
Burial will be St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Ellis.
