The Bridge From Violence, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault has announced upcoming events for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).
On Thursday (April 17), the public is invited to attend The Bridge’s Washington County Chamber Coffee and Connections from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Attendees will learn more about The Bridge’s partnership with Memorial Community Hospital to serve victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in the county.
The Bridge’s Take Back the Night event will be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. April 24 at AZ + Co. in downtown Fremont. Sponsored by Wine Experience and event space donated by AZ + Co., the evening features a wine tasting, survivor speaker, presentation from The Bridge, and an event raffle. Guests will have the opportunity to support essential services for survivors while also connecting with others who are committed to ending sexual violence.
Sponsorship opportunities and individual seats for Take Back the Night remain available. Sponsors will receive brand recognition and event seating for two, four, or eight individuals. Sponsorships are available at $250, $500, and $1,000. Individual tickets can be purchased for $125 each. To reserve your sponsorship or purchase tickets, contact Christy Fiala at 402-721-4340 or ChristyF@BridgeFromViolence.com.
