Trinity Lutheran Church invites the Fremont community to join in the joy and hope of Easter through a series of meaningful worship services during Holy Week, culminating in a
celebration of the resurrection on Easter Sunday, April 20.
Trinity offers three distinct Easter Sunday services, each with its own style and setting:
• 6 a.m. – Sunrise Service at Memorial Cemetery (800 W 23rd St)
• 8 a.m. – Organ-Led Service at Trinity (1546 N Luther Rd), featuring an Easter choir, traditional hymns, and the moving tradition of flowering the cross—a powerful image of
life emerging from death.
• 10:30 a.m. – Band-Led Service at Trinity, with contemporary worship music and the flowering of the cross.
“No matter which service you attend, you’ll hear the joyful message from Luke 24:1-12 and see a cross transformed by flowers—an image of how Jesus brings beauty and life out of the darkest places,” said Trinity Lutheran Pastor Anthony Gerber said. “There is nothing more important than knowing the joy of the resurrected Jesus.”
Children are welcome at all services. While Trinity does not offer separate childcare, families are encouraged to worship together.
“We believe children learn how to be in worship by being in worship,” Gerber said.
Leading up to Easter, Trinity will host several Holy Week services:
• Maundy Thursday – April 17 at 6 p.m.
• Good Friday – April 18 at 6 p.m.
• Holy Saturday – April 19 at 6 p.m.
All services are open to the public, with no registration required. For more details, visit trinityfremont.com/easter, email church@trinityfremont.org, call 402.721.5536, or check out facebook.com/fremonttrinity.
