SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced the conference player and pitcher of the week for contests played April 7-April 13, 2025. Midland University’s Owen Kelley was selected as the GPAC Pitcher of the Week while Jake Chronic of Briar Cliff University was named the player of the week.
Kelley, a junior from Omaha, Nebraska, threw a no-hitter for the Warriors this week as they took three of four games at Dordt. In the series’ first game, he went 7 innings with 12 strikeouts and allowed just one walk. This season, he is 4-3 with two complete games and nine starts.
