SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports have announced the softball player and pitcher of the week for contests played March 31-April 6, 2025. Midland University’s Campbell Petrick was selected as the GPAC Pitcher of the Week while Mackenzi Harrel of Morningside University earned player recognition.
Petrick, a junior from Lincoln, Nebraska, pitched a no-hitter in her lone outing last week at Concordia. She faced 24 batters in the contest, allowing two walks in seven innings of work. It was her third straight game without allowing a run as she improved to 9-4 on the season with a 2.05 ERA. This is her second GPAC weekly award of the season.
