Mary M. Adler, 94, of Fremont passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Providence Place in Fremont. She was born October 4, 1930 in Le Mars, Iowa to Frank and Laura (Meyers) Lauters.
Mary grew up at rural Le Mars and graduated from high school there. She married Richard M. Adler June 4, 1950 in Le Mars. They lived in Ames, Iowa; Lubbock, Texas; and Marshalltown, Iowa and have been in Fremont since the early 1980s. Richard preceded her in death on August 2, 2001.
Mary was active in the Presbyterian faith and was involved with many activities at the church. Mary worked at JC Penney and Schwesers department stores as well as a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard and two brothers, Eugene and Richard Lauters.
Mary is survived by her sons, David (Jill) Adler of Fremont and Tim (Cindy) Adler of Arlington; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 6 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Chaplain Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.
