Patrick K. Perry, 69, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at NorthCare Hospice House in Kansas City surrounded by family. He was born October 25, 1955 in O’Neill to Richard A. and Mildred L. (Cavanaugh) Perry.
Pat grew up in Fremont, Nebraska and graduated from Fremont Senior High School. He then received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and later his RN. Pat married Joy deLara on October 31, 1981. They lived in Kansas City, Missouri, from then on. He was an RN at the KU Medical Center Psychiatric Emergency Department and Research Psychiatric Center until retiring in 2021.
Pat was a member of Redemptorist Church in KC.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Perry; daughter Dianne (Darren) Dowler; stepdaughter, Amie (Emmanuel) Monzon all of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Dr. Richard (Evelyn) Perry, Michael (Norida) Perry, Keith (Carol) Perry and Kelly Perry; sister, Gigi (John) Harrington; three grandchildren, Raina and Bianca Dowler and Chloe Monzon; and brother-in-law, Mike Reis.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Mitzi Perry and sister, Regina “Reggie” Reis.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with a Vigil/Rosary starting at 7, all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
