A Fremont man has been charged with burglary following an incident Tuesday.
Fremont police were dispatched to a business in the 800 block of East 23rd Street on a report of a burglary in progress. A description of a man leaving the scene on a BMX bike was provided.
Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies located David Esquivel Mejia, 18, in the area of East 21st Street and North Platte Avenue. He was arrested and charged with burglary, possession of burglars’ tools and tampering with physical evidence.
