A Fremont police officer was at a traffic stop at 11:16 Friday night at Military and Irving when he was advised of a nearby accident where people were leaving the scene.
The officer proceeded to the area of the accident and had contact with Joseph S. Ridgebear, 43, of Fremont who was later arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and DUI.
