The Bridge From Violence, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault has announced the 2024 “Festival of Hope” online silent auction.
The auction will run from Nov. 27 to Dec. 8.
The Festival of Hope offers a unique opportunity for the community to make a tangible difference in the lives of survivors while bidding on extraordinary items and experiences. This online silent auction shines a light on our community’s commitment to breaking the cycle of violence and serves as a beacon of hope for survivors.
The fundraiser includes exclusive items and experiences donated by individuals and local businesses. From family outings to unique holiday gift baskets, there is something for everyone.
“This year’s auction has even more to offer than previous years and is a great way to support The Bridge while completing your holiday shopping,” Development Director Christy Fiala said.
Every bid placed during the Festival of Hope funds the critical resources and services The Bridge provides to survivors embarking on their path to safety. The funds raised support resources such as emergency shelter, criminal justice advocacy, transportation, and food and hygiene supplies for survivors as they reclaim their lives and find healing.
Bidders are encouraged to visit the auction website at https://qtego.us/qlink/thebridge to register for the event and place a bid. Items will be displayed at Abe Krasne’s Home Furnishings in downtown Fremont from Nov. 27 to Dec. 8.
